When I first met with Chris + Janine to chat about their wedding day I knew it was going to be a wedding I truly would never forget. Their day consisted of a boho theme with the foothills of Shenandoah as their backdrop. The wood geometric arch was decorated with fall florals and lined in front of it were wood bench pews which were all designed and hand-built by the groom! The day proceeded with a relaxed and sentimental vibe that slowly brought the sun out for a perfect golden hour ceremony., but not before some emotional excitement from the parents during getting ready.

Chris & Janine professed their love, exchanged vows and rings in front of their closest family and friends. Once they were announced as husband and wife we proceeded to take bride & groom portraits and then we moved to the reception. The reception took place under the night sky lit by cafe lights. As the sky was painted with the prettiest colors people found their seats and the new couple was introduced, the moon decided to make an appearance so we rushed over to an open field and took some photos under the moon.

The night proceeded with the couple being surrounded by so much love, support, laughter, and tears.

This wedding was definitely one of those weddings that reminds me why I love what I do. Getting to see and capture all the love that surrounds and uplifts a union. Plus, I also love it when a couple is so fun and adventurous they decide to end the night with a pool jump in their wedding attire!
